The DM-32UV is type accepted under FCC Part 90, which covers licensed land-mobile use, and its amateur bands require an FCC amateur licence (Technician class is enough to start). Receiving is unrestricted; transmitting without the appropriate licence is not legal. If that is a dealbreaker, the CT70 network radio needs no licence for its network mode and we would rather sell you that one.

What Restore Assist adds

Setup help on the phone — programming, channels, contacts and a test call before you rely on it.

In-house repair.
