The repair process

How a repair actually runs

Seven stages, and you decide whether to continue at the estimate.

  1. Intake

You explain the issue by phone or through the form. We confirm whether it's something we handle.

  2. Evaluation

The product is inspected once it reaches us and the actual fault is identified.

  3. Estimate

You receive an estimate covering what's needed, where a repair is viable.

  4. Approval

Nothing proceeds until you approve it. You can decline at this point.

  5. Repair

The approved work is carried out.

  6. Quality Check

The product is function-tested before it goes back.

  7. Return

The product is shipped back to you.

Diagnostic fees, repair pricing, turnaround times and return shipping arrangements are confirmed with you before you send anything in. We don't publish fixed prices here because they depend on the product and the fault.

Not sure it's worth repairing?

That's a fair question and often the right one. Call and we'll compare repair against a refurbished replacement honestly.

What we can and can't tell you up front

An accurate repair quote needs the product in front of a technician. What we can do on the phone is tell you whether the symptoms sound like something economically repairable, what the likely cause is, and whether it's worth sending in at all.

Sometimes the honest answer is that a repair costs more than the product is worth. We'd rather say that on the call than after you've paid to ship it.

Guidance is limited to safe, external checks a product owner can carry out. We will not ask you to open a battery pack, work on exposed wiring, or bypass a safety mechanism. If a product shows heat, smoke, swelling or damage, stop using it and call us.

Submitting this form does not commit you to a repair or to any charge.
If you're not sure, leave this blank — we can identify it on the call.
Describe the symptoms, when they started and anything that changed. If you have photos, mention it here and reply to our email with them attached.
How much does a repair cost?

It depends entirely on the product and the fault, so we don't publish a fixed figure. You receive an estimate after evaluation and nothing proceeds without your approval.

Is there a diagnostic fee?

Any fee that applies is explained to you before you send the product in. It is never applied without you agreeing to it first.

How long does a repair take?

Turnaround depends on the product, the fault and parts availability. We'll give you a realistic expectation during the call.

What if you can't repair it?

We tell you, and we explain the alternatives — which may be a refurbished replacement, or simply that it isn't worth pursuing.

Do you repair products still under manufacturer warranty?

If your product is still covered by its manufacturer warranty, using that coverage is usually the better option and we'll point you there.
