Warranty

What warranty coverage applies to products purchased from Restore Assist, and how to make a claim.

Warranty terms vary by product. The warranty period that applies to a specific item is shown on that item's product page. Where a product is sold without a warranty, its page says so.

The detailed terms below still need to be confirmed by the business before launch. Placeholders mark every value that requires a real decision.

What is covered

Where a warranty applies to a refurbished product, it is intended to cover functional failure of the product under normal domestic use during the stated warranty period.

  • Functional failure of the product under normal use
  • Faults present at the point of delivery
  • Components replaced by us during refurbishment, for the stated period

What is not covered

  • Cosmetic wear consistent with the stated condition grade
  • Consumable items such as filters and belts, unless faulty on arrival
  • Damage caused by accident, misuse, liquid ingress or unauthorised repair
  • Normal battery capacity decline over time
  • Products where the fault results from continued use after a fault was evident

How to make a claim

Contact us before returning anything. We'll confirm whether the fault is covered and explain how to package and send the product.

Have your order number and a description of the fault ready.

Return and shipping procedure

Who pays return shipping on a warranty claim, and the return window that applies to a change of mind, are set out in our refund and shipping policies. These values are configured by the business and are not assumed here.
